In our family, this recipe is called the Snow Pea Dish. If it doesn’t have snow peas, then it is commonly referred to as the Oyster Sauce Dish.
The Oyster Sauce Dish is a “what can we have for dinner” recipe. What is used is whatever meat and vegetable combination we have available.
For us, the original is always with snow peas and chicken. The original recipe suggests swapping the chicken for either pork or prawns.
