This is a basic recipe for semolina pudding. It started when we had a packet of semolina that we had bought for some reason we had forgotten and needed to use it before it expired.
The dessert was enjoyed by the whole family and became a common winter treat. It is so simple that it is easy to whip up on a whim and enjoyed nice and hot. It is also enjoyable cold the next day.
It can be had without any garnish but we add some nutmeg or cinnamon on top for something a little extra.
The recipe is shown as per serve, but I don’t think we have ever made it as a single serve. It has been shown this way so the recipe can simply be multiplied for however many serves are needed. We usually make 4-5 serves but have made 10 serves at once to use up milk quickly.
